Unlike traditional church buildings, these gatherings are hidden from plain sight—meeting quietly in homes, huts, caves, under trees, or beside rivers. In many of the regions where One Way Ministries International serves, believers face intense persecution for their faith, so visible church buildings simply aren’t possible.

Our leaders are planting and growing underground churches across some of the most persecuted and least reached areas in the world, where often only 2–5% of the population identifies as Christian. These secret gatherings become places of worship, discipleship, and courage—where believers are trained to share their faith and multiply new churches, even at great personal risk.
